The tourist and information center of the Vologda region was created in the interests of tourists and with the purpose of promoting the tourist potential of the region. Primary activity: - advising tourists; - the creation of a comfortable tourist environment, the development of territories (the maintenance of the portal in the Vologda region, the expansion of the network of tourist information points, the installation of signs for navigation, infostends at roadside service points, the publication and distribution of polygraphs - maps, guides, including "Russian Guide - Polyglot ", as well as flyers about tourist events in the Vologda region); - Presentation of the tourist potential of the region at Russian and international specialized tourist exhibitions; - organizing and conducting information tours for operators and the media; - introduction of new technologies (creation of mobile applications, audio guides, online consultant); support of small business.
