A pancake week on Kizhi Island

A pancake week has always been greatly celebrated in Russia with horse riding, sleighing, games, and tasty treats.
From 12 th till 18 th of February 2018 The Kizhi museum offers a special program to guests of Kizhi Island for pancake week.
In addition to the excursion around the main exposition, you will take part in games and fun activities together with the folklore theater of the Kizhi museum. The fun program includes sleighing, traditional festive songs and dances of Zaonezhie, tug of war and more.
Tea-drinking with traditional Russian pancakes will support festive mood.
Tour programs of the museum include transfer from Petrozavodsk to Kizhi and back to Petrozavodsk by hovercraft HIVUS-10.
